Ms. Shulman is an award-winning author of nine cookbooks, including Mediterranean Light, Mexican Light, Provencal Light, The Vegetarian Feast, Entertaining Light, and Mediterranean Harvest. The Vegetarian Feast won a 1979 Tastemaker Award (a precursor of the prestigious James Beard Awards) for Best Book, Health and Special Diets category, and remains in print. She authors the New York Times series, “Recipes for Health.”
