Refund Policy

We understand that schedules shift, priorities change, and creative projects sometimes evolve. This Refund Policy explains how NoLa Quantitative Technologies Inc ("we," "us," or "our") handles cancellations and refund requests for podcast production and related services.

Our goal is to be fair, transparent, and flexible — while respecting the time and effort that goes into every project.

1. What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to all services offered by NoLa Quantitative Technologies Inc, including but not limited to:

  • Podcast creation and editing
  • Studio rentals and recordings
  • Audio livestream support
  • Voice-over work
  • Audio cleanup and post-production
  • Training or consulting sessions

Each service is custom-delivered and arranged through direct communication and agreement.

2. Full Refunds

A full refund may be granted when:

  • No work has started (no editing, no recording, no prep)
  • No studio time has been reserved or blocked off
  • The cancellation is made well in advance (typically 5+ business days prior)

In such cases, we will gladly return your deposit or any prepaid amount in full.

3. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply in the following situations:

  • Some prep work has been done (e.g., script review, technical setup)
  • Studio time was blocked but not used
  • The project was started but not completed

We'll assess the work completed so far and refund you the portion that represents the unrendered service. We aim to be fair and flexible in each case.

4. No Refunds

Refunds are generally not available when:

  • The full service was already delivered as agreed
  • Studio time was used, regardless of project outcome
  • Client cancels last minute (e.g., within 24 hours of a session)
  • Delay or change was due to the client's availability or lack of readiness

This is because time and resources were already committed to your project.

5. Rescheduling and Cancellations

We allow rescheduling at no extra charge if requested at least 48 hours in advance. Short-notice cancellations (under 24 hours) may be subject to a fee or forfeiture of deposit, depending on the booking length and staff allocation.

We encourage early communication — it helps us stay flexible and keep things smooth for everyone.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email admin@nolastudiola.com with:

  • Your full name
  • The service/project in question
  • Date of the original agreement or session
  • Reason for the refund request

We aim to respond within 3–5 business days. If a refund is approved, we'll notify you and process it promptly.

7. Refund Method

Refunds are issued using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we agree on an alternative.

You'll usually receive your refund within 5–7 business days after approval, depending on your payment provider.

8. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve all refund issues directly and reasonably. If a disagreement arises, we'll do our best to resolve it through open conversation and compromise.

If needed, disputes will be handled under the laws of Quebec, Canada. We hope it never comes to that — our goal is always to leave things on good terms.

9. Exceptions

We're not responsible for cancellations caused by:

  • Third-party service failures (e.g., internet outages beyond our control)
  • Delays on the client's end
  • Situations considered force majeure (natural disasters, emergency shutdowns)

We'll always try to accommodate or reschedule in good faith when such events occur.
