Rose Scholarina invites you behind the curtain (the apron?! the cape!) of academic womanhood. Rose hails from the ivoried tower of Everywhere College Town, USA. She’s opted for this more masked approach to engage in frank and (hopefully) enlightening asynchronous chit-chats with other women across the academy and beyond. Thus, she will infuse her blog posts with these comments by her dear friends/colleagues (who are also attending her masquerade) to pontificate on the realm of women in academia. And, since we are in the era of the 50th anniversary of Friedan’s Feminine Mystique, what better time to stop and smell the roses and pull some weeds!
